The Weight of Worry
I know you are tired. The anxiety of not knowing what tomorrow holds feels like a heavy yoke around your neck. You want to know how to just trust God, but your heart is racing with fear. It is easy to feel small when the circumstances around you are large and loud.
You might feel like you are the one left behind, wandering in the wilderness of your own doubts. But consider this: the Shepherd does not leave you there to figure it out alone. He is actively seeking you out, not because you are perfect, but because you are His.
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?— Luke 15:4, KJV
The Joy of Being Found
Trusting God is not about having all the answers; it is about knowing the One who holds your future. When you feel lost, remember that your value is not determined by your performance. Jesus illustrates this profound truth with the image of a woman searching for a single coin. She does not ignore the loss; she lights a candle and sweeps diligently.
This is how God treats your pain. He does not sweep it under the rug. He searches diligently for your peace. When you finally lay down your struggle and turn back to Him, there is a celebration in heaven that surpasses the comfort of the ninety-nine who never wandered. Your return to faith brings joy to the very presence of God.
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.— Luke 15:10, KJV
You do not have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Christ has already carried your burden. Let go of the need to control the outcome and rest in the certainty that you are sought after, found, and deeply loved. Trust God, not because the path is clear, but because He is faithful.
