Who Founded Grace Notes Ministries?
Bill Landman, a resident of Pennsylvania, founded Grace Notes Ministries with a single conviction: the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for every person, regardless of their past, their failures, or their doubts. The ministry is built on Romans 10:9 — that salvation comes through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. Every resource the ministry produces is aimed at making that truth accessible to one more searching soul.
What Does Grace Notes Ministries Believe?
Grace Notes Ministries believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works, not by religion, not by earning God's favor. We believe Jesus Christ died for the sins of all people, rose from the dead on the third day, and offers eternal life freely to all who call on His name. We believe every human being has inherent worth and is loved by God unconditionally.
Grace Notes Ministries is a Pennsylvania nonprofit founded on a simple, non-negotiable truth: God's grace is not earned, cannot be bought, and was never intended to be gatekept. The Gospel of Jesus Christ belongs to every searching soul — the addict, the doubter, the one who feels too broken to be loved, the incarcerated, the grieving veteran, the person who has been told by religion that they don't qualify.
We reach those people where they actually are — online, at 3am, searching for answers — through free daily devotionals, scripture-based articles, and an AI-guided scripture companion trained on the living Word of God. No collection plate. No membership fee. No denomination required. Just the Gospel, exactly as it is.
Our long-term mission is to build a fully free digital ministry resource that prepares searching souls for a relationship with Jesus Christ, supports new believers in their early walk, and equips every person who comes to our site with the truth that changes everything: You are already forgiven. You are already loved. The price has already been paid.
Salvation by Grace Alone
We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not through church membership, good deeds, baptism, or any human effort. Romans 10:9 is our cornerstone: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
The Authority of Scripture
Every devotional, article, and scripture study resource we produce is grounded in the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We use the New King James Version (NKJV) as our primary translation because of its accuracy, readability, and faithfulness to the original manuscripts.
Grace Is Unconditional
Romans 5:8 says "God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God does not love you because you are good. He loves you because He is. That is the unearned, unmerited grace at the center of everything we build and publish.
The Gospel Reaches Every Person
John 3:16 says "whoever believes" — not "whoever deserves," not "whoever has their life together." Our ministry exists to make sure that promise reaches every person who searches for it, regardless of their background, history, or current condition.
Grace Notes Ministries was built for the person who types "God help me" with nowhere else to turn. For the veteran who has seen things no one should see and wonders if God still sees them. For the person behind bars who has been told their story is over. For the grieving spouse, the recovering addict, the college student at 4am who feels completely alone.
We also serve new believers who have just said yes to Jesus and need somewhere to grow. We serve longtime Christians who need a word of encouragement on a hard day. We serve the curious — the person who has never read a Bible but wants to know if any of this is real.
Our content is written in plain language, rooted in scripture, and never condescending. We believe the person reading deserves both the truth and the dignity of being treated as an adult. We point every person to Jesus — not to a denomination, not to a political position, not to ourselves.
