Can you imagine meeting someone super, super famous and important? What if they stopped everything they were doing just to see YOU? Well, thatβs exactly what Jesus did!
One sunny day, lots of moms and dads brought their children to see Jesus. But some of Jesus's grown-up friends thought He was too busy and tried to shoo the kids away. When Jesus saw this, He said, 'Stop! Let all the little children come to me, and don't send them away!' Then He took them in His arms and blessed them.
Guess what? Jesus feels the exact same way about you! He is never, ever too busy for you. He loves when you talk to Him, sing to Him, and want to be His friend.
Memory Verse: "Mark 10:14 β Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
This week, try this: Draw a picture of you running to give Jesus a great big hug! When you're done, show it to someone you love and tell them, 'Jesus loves me this much!'
Always remember how special you are to Jesus. He thinks you are wonderful and wants to be your best friend forever. You are His treasure!
