You came here because something is broken. Maybe it is your body — a diagnosis, a chronic condition, a pain that will not quiet down. Maybe it is your heart — grief, betrayal, a wound that never fully closed. Maybe it is something you cannot name, just a deep exhaustion that has settled into your bones and will not let go.

Wherever you are, you are in the right place. Because healing is not outside the character of God — it is central to it.

"And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up." — James 5:15, KJV

A Prayer for Physical Healing

Father — You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. I come to You not because I have earned it, but because You have promised it. Touch this body. Reach into the places the doctors cannot see. Where there is disease, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring relief. I trust You with the outcome even when I cannot see the path. In Jesus' name. Amen. — Pray this as many times as you need to.

A Prayer for Emotional Healing

Lord — the wound in my heart is real. I am not going to pretend it isn't. Heal what was broken in me. Restore what was stolen. Redeem what I thought was wasted. You are the God who makes all things new — I am asking You to start with me. In Jesus' name. Amen. — There is no wrong way to pray this.

What does the Bible promise about healing? Isaiah 53:5 says by His stripes we are healed. Psalm 103:3 says He heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 promises He will restore your health. These are not suggestions. They are the character of a God who has never once been indifferent to human suffering.

You are not praying into a void. You are praying to a Father who watched His own Son suffer so that your suffering would never be the final word.
