The Voice That Defines You

I know the weight you carry as a young man. The world demands you prove your worth through achievement, strength, or status, leaving you exhausted and anxious. But there is a different foundation, one that does not waver when your circumstances shift. At your baptism, standing before the Father, Jesus heard words that silence every lie you have ever been told about your value.

You are not defined by your past mistakes or your future failures. You are defined by the Father’s delight. When you feel invisible or inadequate, remember that heaven itself testified to Christ’s identity. If you are in Him, that same voice speaks over you. You are not an orphan striving for approval; you are a son loved without condition.

The world may call you names or measure your success by your wallet or your muscle, but God measures you by His pleasure in Christ. This is the bedrock of your confidence. It is not based on your performance but on His grace. Let this truth anchor your soul when the storms of life try to sweep you away.

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.— Luke 3:22, KJV

The Power To Be Opened

There are moments when you feel stuck, unable to speak your truth or hear God’s guidance clearly. You may feel deaf to the Spirit’s whisper or dumb in the face of opposition. Jesus knows this paralysis. He did not just preach healing; He entered into the mess of human limitation with tenderness and power. He takes you aside, away from the noise of the crowd, to work in the secret place.

Do not be afraid of your weakness. It is often the very place where God chooses to display His glory. When you bring your deafness and your muteness to Him, He sighs with compassion and commands your spirit to be free. He does not scold you for your limitations; He liberates you from them. His command is simple yet profound: 'Be opened.'

Allow Jesus to touch the areas of your life that feel blocked. He wants to loosen the strings of your tongue so you can speak life, hope, and truth to those around you. He wants to open your ears so you can hear the still, small voice of the Shepherd. This is not just about physical healing; it is about spiritual vitality and clarity.

And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.— Mark 7:34, KJV

Young men, you are beloved. You are heard. You are being opened by the grace of Christ. Stand firm in this truth, and let the world see the astonishment of a life transformed by Jesus. Walk in the freedom He has paid for, and speak His love boldly to a broken world.
