✦ Grace Notes Ministries — King James Numeric Series
Most people read the Bible. Fewer people count it. When you start counting — really counting, word by word, name by name, verse by verse — something impossible shows up. Six patterns that no committee of editors, no team of translators, no human being alive could have placed there on purpose. They were already there. Waiting.
"...for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse." — Esther 8:8
These patterns were first documented and freely published by Brandon Peterson — Truth Is Christ Ministry. He spent years hand-counting and verifying every pattern, and makes all of his research available at no charge. We are building on his foundation — presenting his discoveries to our community, adding our own KJV-rooted doctrinal context, and going deeper where the Spirit leads. We credit him fully. We encourage you to explore his work directly: KJVCharts.com · SealedByTheKing.com · KJVCode.com — all free, all verifiable.

✦ Pattern 1 · Matthew 18:22
"Peter saith unto him, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven." — Matthew 18:21-22
Peter thought seven times was generous. Jesus said no — seventy times seven. That is 490. Not a poetic number. An exact number. And here is what stops you cold: Brandon Peterson went into the New Testament and counted every time the name "Jesus" appears — not "Lord," not "Christ," not "Him" — the name Jesus, pure references to the Son of God only.
The name "Jesus" appears exactly 490 times in the odd-numbered New Testament books and exactly 490 times in the even-numbered New Testament books. That is 70×7 on each side. Total: 980. Two uses of the name that refer to other people — Joshua in Hebrews 4:8 and Acts 7:45 — are correctly excluded. Strip those out and the seal is perfect.
Think about what you are looking at. The Lord who told Peter to forgive seventy times seven has His own name written into His own Testament exactly seventy times seven — on each side, left and right, balanced like a scale. No editor arranged that. No publisher caught it. God placed His Son's name there with mathematical precision before the printing press existed.

✦ Pattern 2 · John 21:11
"Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken." — John 21:11
The Bible does not waste words. When the Holy Spirit led the writers to record the exact count of fish in Peter's net — not "many," not "a great number" — He recorded one hundred and fifty and three. Why? That is the question that opens a door. Because 153 is the 17th triangular number. That means if you stack a triangle where the top row has one item, the next row has two, the next has three — all the way down to a bottom row of seventeen — the total count is 153. God does not reach for random numbers.
Search the King James Bible for the word "Peter." It appears in exactly 153 verses. The man Jesus called to be a fisher of men is numerically tied — by the very count of fish in his greatest catch — to every verse that carries his name. This was not arranged by Peter, John, or any translator. The number was set before they ever picked up a pen.
You cannot un-see this once you see it. The apostle sent to fish for souls. The net that did not break. The number God chose to record. And the same number that marks every verse Peter ever appears in. That is not coincidence — that is authorship.

✦ Pattern 3 · Psalm 12:6
"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." — Psalm 12:6
Psalm 12:6 says God's words are purified seven times. Most people read that as poetry — a way of saying "completely pure." Brandon Peterson decided to take it as a literal mathematical claim, and he counted every single word and number in the entire King James Bible. Not just the verses. Everything — book titles, chapter numbers, verse numbers, every word in the text from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.
The total count is exactly 823,543 — which is 7 raised to the 7th power. Seven times seven times seven times seven times seven times seven times seven. The number of God's perfection, multiplied by itself, seven times over. This has been independently verified by multiple researchers using digital tools. It is not a typo. It is not an approximation. It is exact.
Then someone tested the NIV. Then the ESV. Then the NASB. Not one of them hits this number. They have been added to and subtracted from — words removed here, phrases softened there — and the seal broke. Only the King James Bible, preserved on the Textus Receptus, carries 7⁷. Psalm 12:6 is not poetry. It is a promise God kept in the arithmetic.

✦ Pattern 4 · 1 John 5:7
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." — 1 John 5:7
First John 5:7 is the only verse in all of Scripture that names all three members of the Godhead in one sentence. The Father. The Word. The Holy Ghost. Three in one. Brandon Peterson went into the King James Bible and counted how many times each name appears — then added them up.
The Father + The Word + The Holy Ghost appear a combined 777 times in the King James Bible. Three persons, three sevens. And it does not stop there: Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Count those three words across the KJV — Way appears 777 times · Truth appears 777 times · Life appears 777 times. The Lord described Himself with three words. Each word is sealed with His number.
Seven is the number God uses throughout Scripture to mark completion and perfection. Three sevens written across the names of the Trinity and the self-description of Christ — this is not wordplay. This is God signing His name across His own Book, three times, in His own number. You are looking at a fingerprint.

✦ Pattern 5 · Genesis 1:1 · Revelation 22:21
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord." — Revelation 1:8
God declares Himself the Alpha and Omega — the first word and the last word of everything. If that claim is true, His signature should be findable at the very first verse of Scripture and the very last. Brandon Peterson went to Genesis 1:1 — the opening words of the Bible — and to Revelation 22:21 — the closing words — and counted how many times those opening and closing words appear across every book in between.
The combined appearances of the key words from Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21 across the entire King James Bible total exactly 77,777. Five sevens. The number of Divine completion written five times across the span from the first word of Genesis to the last word of Revelation. God bracketed His own Book with His own number.
Alpha and Omega means He was there at the beginning and He will be there at the end. The numeric seal at Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 22:21 is God's way of putting His signature on the cover of His own Book — and the inside pages too. He is not hiding. He is declaring.

✦ Pattern 6 · Revelation 13:18
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." — Revelation 13:18
Revelation 13:18 does not just reveal the number of the Beast — it gives a command: count it. "Let him that hath understanding count the number." So Brandon Peterson did exactly that. He searched the KJV using the precise language Revelation itself uses to describe 666 — the words Solomon, six hundred, threescore, and six — the same components that add to the Beast's number.
Those four terms appear in exactly 666 combined mentions, across exactly 666 verses of the King James Bible. The number of the Beast lands on itself — 666 occurrences in 666 verses. No modern translation produces this result. It requires the preserved Received Text. The KJV carries the seal. The others do not.
Now here is the detail that will stay with you. When you isolate the 666th mention — the final, decisive hit in this count — it falls in Acts 13. Specifically, on a man named Bar-jesus. A sorcerer. A false prophet who stood directly against the Apostle Paul and tried to turn a new believer away from the faith. God did not just seal the number of the Beast into 666 verses. He made the 666th mention land on the exact person in Scripture who most resembles the spirit of the Antichrist — a deceiver in religious clothing, opposing the Word of God to someone's face. That is not a coincidence. That is a judgment written in arithmetic.

Ivan Panin was born in Russia, educated at Harvard, and arrived in America as a committed atheist. In 1890 he opened a Greek New Testament and noticed something that would consume the rest of his life — mathematical patterns running through every single word and letter of the original Hebrew and Greek Scriptures. Not loosely. Not approximately. Exactly.
He spent the next 50 years counting by hand, producing over 40,000 pages of research. He wrote a 7-page open letter to the New York Sun challenging any mathematician alive to disprove his findings. Not one person ever did. He died in 1942, a believer, having given everything to documenting what he called "the signature of God."
Brandon Peterson stands on Panin's shoulders — extending the same mathematical lens into the English King James Bible. Where Panin worked in Hebrew and Greek, Peterson works in the preserved English text. The patterns hold across the translation. The KJV, resting on the Textus Receptus, carries the same supernatural numeric integrity as the original languages. That is not what the critics told you. But the numbers do not lie.
What does this mean? It means God did not just inspire men to write His Word. He watched over every word across every translation for two thousand years — and the math proves it. Every modern version that cut verses, softened language, or removed passages broke the seal. The King James stands alone.
"Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." — Psalm 12:7
