Salvation is received by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9, KJV). You don't need to go to a church or confess to a priest. Believe and confess — that is how you are born again.

What is a salvation prayer?

A salvation prayer is a simple, sincere prayer confessing your sin and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is not a magic formula — God looks at the heart. A simple prayer: 'Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.'

Do I need to be baptized to be saved?

Salvation comes by grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9, KJV). Baptism is an outward sign of an inward work — it is important and commanded by Jesus, but it is not what saves you. Faith in Jesus Christ alone saves.

What happens after I get saved?

Recognize You Need a Savior

Jesus Christ — fully God, fully man — died on the cross to pay for your sin. Three days later He rose from the dead, conquering death and proving He is Lord. This is the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Faith in this fact is the door to salvation.

Confess Jesus as Lord

Romans 10:10 says: "With the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Speak it. Mean it. Heaven records it.

Receive the Gift

Salvation is not earned — it's received. "By grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). You cannot be good enough. You only have to receive what Jesus already paid for.
