The Complete Doctrine Series — A One-Page Reference Guide · KJV-Rooted
God does not wait for man to climb to Him. He descends. Through creation, conscience, and His Son — He sends the signal first. Every person has already received it. The question is never whether God spoke. It's whether you're listening.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." — Ps 19:1
Forty broken men. Three continents. Sixteen centuries. One book — without contradiction. God didn't override the writers; He breathed through them (theopneustos). Every word is fully human and fully divine. The vessel's cracks are not obstacles to the treasure. They are proof the treasure isn't coming from the vessel.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God." — 2 Tim 3:16
Two people. Same verse. One is wrecked by it. One moves on unchanged. That gap is the Spirit's hidden work — Illumination. The natural man cannot receive spiritual truth, not will not. The Holy Spirit opens the eye the fall closed. Three words change everything before you read: "Open my eyes."
"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law." — Ps 119:18
The Bible does not suggest. It commands. Not cruelty — architecture. The man who submits his anger, his tongue, his decisions to what God actually said ends up with the one thing self-rule could never produce: a life that doesn't collapse. Authority isn't a cage. It's the only load-bearing wall in the room.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." — Ps 119:105
God revealed Himself. He preserved that revelation in writing. He opens the eyes of the people He intends to receive it. And then He calls those people to live under what He said — not as a burden, but as the architecture of a life that holds. This is not religion. This is God refusing to leave broken people without a way home.
Lord, I believe You spoke.
I believe You preserved every word without error.
I believe Your Spirit has to open my eyes for me to truly receive it.
And I believe Your Word has the right to rule my life — not just advise it.
So I'm not asking You to fit into what I already think.
I'm asking You to break through whatever is blocking me from hearing You.
Open my eyes. Change my mind. Rule my life.
I surrender the authority back to You.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
